Can you learn a new language without taking a language class? Yes, see my timeline on this image!

Can you learn a new language in a busy schedule? Yes, I listen to Spanish podcasts in the bathroom and take Duolingo lessons while waiting for my rice to cook!

Can you speak a new language fast without going to class? No! Even if you will be taking a class, it takes time! Learning a language always takes time!

How do you get immersed in a new language without traveling or paying a tutor? Podcasts, Movies, YouTube, following an influencer on Facebook who speaks the language …the list can be very long…

What Podcasts do I recommend? Duolingo podcast, Coffee Break Spanish, Espanolisto,

What YouTube channels do I recommend? Lirica, Sounter, 123dialogues.com

But why did you start learning Spanish, English is international, right? Understanding many languages is a superpower, I can talk to more people, read more books, and watch more movies! And now, I can communicate with the family of my boyfriend! (They speak English but they just want to force me to practice!) In fact, I decided to learn Spanish because Bachata and Salsa songs sounded nice! I started watching their clips and they were really interesting! Also, the singers look cute! So, I wanted to know what they mean in the songs! Once I learned the French translation, I noticed that those words spoke to my heart! They tell my story! I downloaded a lot of songs by Prince Royce and sometimes I just wanted to be in my room crying while listening to Invisible (The Story of a Child Abandoned by his dad!) or Dulce (A Teenage Girl Got Pregnant by a Jerk Who Did not take his responsibility). On my happy days, I listen to Unconditional or Las cosas pequeñas which just summarize what I think Love should be!

The key to learning, whether it is a new language or any new subject is always consistency!
